Game-Based Learning with Google Sketch-Up
Learn how to use the 3D modeling program Google Sketch-Up and the free game engine 3DVia to create highly engaging digital simulations, virtual worlds and educational video games that support Common Core's Disciplinary Literacy standards. This session will start with the very basics of using Sketch-Up and will also expose you to some advanced techniques. We'll also consider the integration and use of these programs in all subject areas and levels.

Designing Games with Scratch
Come explore tools to promote computational thinking. Even as technology becomes more ubiquitous, opportunities in schools for students to learn how to program seem to be in decline. We'll look at free tools and strategies to bring programming and computational thinking back into the classroom.
