I have been in education in a variety of roles for two decades. Currently I teach sixth- through eighth-grade Social Studies and Computers at Mary of Lourdes Middle School. My passion of late has been integrating iPads into my curriculum, especially multi-touch textbooks that I have created and are available on the Apple iBooks Store. My students think it's pretty cool that their teacher is a published author, and that they get to learn using my eBooks. This year I kept the paper textbooks in storage and am using the iPads to teach all of my history units. I'm excited to share this exciting opportunity with my fellow professionals at the conference.
