I can honestly state that I love my job. As any educator knows, you still have those days yet I love what I do at Hayes. I feel that as a teacher I am not only teaching music, I am also reaching out and teaching kids about life. Over the past number of years my teaching has evolved so much and the kids are so much more engaged. I also share my role of teaching beyond the classroom to our after school Learning Academy and serve the students as our Power Hour teacher; here I combine my love of fitness with teaching. I am also passionate about fitness and health, being involved in my community, and just living each day to the fullest.
